Here's tick-tack-toe with a great twist: you can play the
standard game on one level, or play the
addictive triple-level version.
(There's also a triple-level version in which some
spaces are blocked out.) One or two players can
use this small game, 5 by 3 by 1.5 inches thick, which can
be handheld or set on the table. The button layout is
straightforward: it takes no time at all to
figure out how to play your X or O on the board.
Standard tick-tack-toe can be fairly boring,
but the three-level version is
sufficiently challenging and frustrating to hold
your attention for a long time. If the computer
wins, the game is mercifully silent, but if you win,
peppy music plays (unless you turn the sound off).
The easy-to-view LCD screen makes this a good
